    Dr. Creatura has been in private practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology in New York City since 1991. A lifelong advocate for women’s sexual and reproductive health, she provides personalized, comprehensive health care for all of her patients. Dr. Creatura is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a North American Menopause Society Certified Menopause practitioner.

    She is the first full-time NYC-based gynecologist to receive fellowship designation in Female Sexual Medicine from the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. She is the sole gynecologist member of several professional peer groups in sex therapy and sexual medicine and collaborates with therapists and their patients to address sexual pain and desire disorders, as well as sexual rehabilitation of cancer survivors and patients with other medical illnesses. She has additional expertise in adolescent gynecology, vulvar disorders, and family planning.

    Dr. Creatura graduated Summa Cum Laude from Barnard College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in 1986. She returned to New York for her residency training at The New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill-Cornell Medical Center where she is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She serves on the Board of Directors at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York, the Advocacy Committee of ISSWSH,  and is a volunteer sexuality educator. She is a graduate of the Leadership Training Academy of Physicians for Reproductive Health and an active member of this physician-led advocacy organization.
