Elissa Gretz Friedman is a board-certified OB/GYN and Menopause Society-Certified Practitioner. Dr. Friedman’s considerable experience in menopause care includes over 20 years of practice at Mount Sinai, where she was the head of the Menopause Center of New York at Mount Sinai and where she started a menopause clinic for resident training. Dr. Friedman’s prior experience also includes patient care in private practice and leadership of benign gynecology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She has published several journal articles on the topic of menopause and a book chapter on hot flashes.
