Cassie Scheiner has a special interest in women’s mental health and is passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate reproductive, perinatal, and family-building experiences.
Cassie is a graduate of the Teachers College at Columbia University Mental Health Counseling Master’s program. Before coming to Seleni, she served students at Manhattanville College through individual psychotherapy, diagnoses and treatment planning, client progress and monitoring, and disposition planning.
Cassie has a rich and diverse background that allows her to connect with patients on a practical level: Before moving into psychology, she spent seven years in digital media and studied communications at Northwestern University.
Cassie deeply values the importance of tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each client and applies psychodynamic techniques to patient-centered care. She offers flexible in-person and telehealth appointments and can help you set and reach your therapy goals.
