    Top Beauty & Skin Tips

    Always Wash Your Face

Wash your face morning and night. It’s important to clean your face and remove dirt,  dead skin, etc. Nicole imparts her theory that you don’t need to break the bank on face wash. Her favorite facewash friend is the Acure which is $10 or less.

Start with a High-Quality Eye Cream

Nicole’s go-to for reducing puffiness and fine lines? Olga Lorencin’s The Eye Cream. It’s the first step in a menopause-friendly skincare routine after you’ve washed your face. Eyecream focuses on hydration and gentle rejuvenation – puffy, saggy eye bags be gone!

    Moisturizer Is Non-Negotiable

As estrogen levels drop, skin becomes drier and more prone to irritation. A rich, hydrating moisturizer can help restore the skin barrier and keep your complexion looking plump and nourished. Always the thrifty shopper, Nicole does splurge on her moisturizer. Her tried and true moisturizer for years has been Algenist’s GENIUS Ultimate Anti-Aging Cream. She swears it’s worth every penny.

Be Selective with Red Light Therapy

Red light devices are everywhere right now, but Nicole advises caution. Many consumer-grade tools may not deliver strong enough results to justify the price. When in doubt, invest in other science-backed basics first and get the red light treatment at a spa.

Gua Sha for Lymphatic Drainage and Glow

Gua Sha helps improve circulation and reduce facial puffiness. Nicole’s pricey pick: the Wilding Gua Sha tool. Use it regularly for a natural contour and relaxation ritual. Or just grab an affordable option from Amazon.

    Don’t Skip Sunscreen

Nicole’s top sunscreen picks: Supergoop, Vacation, and Kosas are all lightweight, and effective against UV damage. Daily SPF is a must, even on cloudy days. Also, don’t forget to also throw on a hat!

    Wash Your Hair Less Often

Overwashing can strip your scalp and hair of moisture. Nicole recommends shampooing just once a week and treating your scalp with these favorites:

    Exfoliate + Hydrate Your Body

A sugar scrub + oil combo is Nicole’s secret to soft, glowing skin. Try Trader Joe’s (low-cost option) or Osea’s body scrubs (more expensive option), followed by body oil while skin is still damp to lock in moisture.

What To Do About Crepey Neck Skin

Nicole swears by Wrinkle Schminkles to smooth and firm delicate neck skin. A small change with big impact.

Why These Menopause Skin and Hair Tips Matter

Skin and hair changes during menopause are real—from dryness and sensitivity to hair thinning and dullness. Nicole’s advice offers simple, effective ways to adapt your routine without starting from scratch.
