I grew up in Southern California and fell in love with the Bay Area after attending UC Berkeley for my undergraduate career. I have always been interested in women's health. At UC Berkeley I was a Female Health Educator for undergraduate students and majored in Molecular Biology. I then went to UCLA where I spent two years doing cancer research before attending medical school at the University of Chicago. It was there that my professional interest in female sexual medicine blossomed. I was thrilled to return to the Bay Area to complete my residency training at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco because of its outstanding clinical training and reputation. Being a part of Kaiser Permanente Oakland has provided me with a rewarding career as an obstetrician/gynecologist. Over the years in practice, I have become specialized in female sexual dysfunction.I feel communication between patients and health care providers is the key to ensuring well-being. When patients are truly informed of their options and included in decision-making, they are able to make wise choices about their health for years to come! Obstetrics and Gynecology are unique in that we see women in many seasons of their lives and can form strong bonds together. Whether we're discussing puberty with teenagers, participating in the birth of a child, or seeing someone over the years for their well-woman visits, we have an obligation to provide honest, open, thorough, and excellent health care. At Kaiser Permanente, I truly feel we provide all this and more.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, enjoying the amazing cuisine the East Bay has to offer, and taking long walks with my family.
