Moscow Mock-Mule

From Dry January to Sober October, if you're looking to replace your cocktail with a mocktail, we've got you. There is a growing movement amongst adults who are reducing their alcohol consumption. Whether it's for personal reasons or for health reasons, or both(!), this Moscow Mock-Mule will have you refreshed and feeling dandy, despite the lack of alcohol. This flavorful twist to the all-time classic cocktail the Moscow Mule is as simple as 1 (lime), 2 (mint), 3 (cucumber). Fresh mint, cucumber and lime juice are the heroes of this libation. However, let's not forget the ginger beer. Long gone are the days of Canada Dry being your only ginger soda option. There are many delicious craft ginger beers, so have fun discovering which one tickles your sober fancy.

Moscow Mock-Mule

Ingredients

• 3 to 4 cucumber slices (1/4" rounds)

• 1Tbsp.fresh mint leaves (~ 4 leaves)

• 1 oz. fresh lime juice

• 7.5oz.Light Ginger Beer (We loveQ Brand, Fever Tree, & Reed’s Craft Ginger Beer Extra)

• Ice

• Lime slices/wedges

• Fresh mint leaves

• Fresh strawberries (2 - 3 strawberries replacing the cucumber)

• Basil (replacing the mint)

• Orange juice & orange slices (replacing the lime)

• Add vodka or tequila if desired!

Instructions

1. Add the lime juice, cucumber and mint leaves to the bottom of a copper Moscow Mule cup

2. Muddle the cucumber, mint and lime together, using a drink muddler, ~1 - 2 minutes until mint leaves have softened.

3. Fill the cup with ice

4. Pour the ginger beer over top and stir

5. Garnish with lime and mint leaves
